It is a healthy Indian curry that can turn any meal into fulfilling meal. Try Palak Dal our Chef's style and do post your comments. <br /> <br />Ingredients <br />1 piece cinnamon <br />2 bay leafs <br />1 tbsp cumin seeds <br />2 chopped green chillies <br />Chopped onions <br />2 tbsp ginger garlic paste <br />3 chopped tomatoes <br />Salt <br />1/2 tbsp red chilli powder <br />3/4 tbsp turmeric powder <br />1 cup chopped spinach <br />1/2 cup chana dal (Split bengal gram) <br />2 cup of water <br />1 tbsp coriander powder <br />1 tbsp garam masala powder <br /> <br />Method <br />In a cooker add some oil, 1 piece cinnamon, 2 bay leafs, 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 2 chopped green chillies, chopped onions and cook till the onions turn soft. <br /> <br />Add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 3 chopped tomatoes, Salt, 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, 3/4 tbsp turmeric powder, mix it well and allow it cook on high flame. <br /> <br />Add 1 cup chopped spinach stir well and cook for some time. <br /> <br />Add 1/2 cup chana dal, mix it well, add 2 cup of water, put the lid and cook for 2-3 whistles. <br /> <br />Add 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp garam masala powder, slow down the flame and cook for around 5 mins. <br /> <br />Garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot!
